Printable Paper Bird Craft

What's Included

FINISHED SIZE (printed on A4 at 100%)

On US Letter everything prints about 6% smaller and still fits together.

• 4 pages: 2 in colour + 2 black-and-white (colour-your-own), supplied as 2 PDFs: A4 and US Letter (300 dpi)
• Bird house page (landscape): one-piece house net with glue tabs, a separate rainbow roof, and step-by-step build instructions
• Bird friends page (portrait): 3 birds with fold-back stands + 3 pairs of wings
• Black-and-white version: the same pieces as line art for kids to colour in before they build
• House: 6 x 6 cm floor, about 9.5 cm tall
• Birds: about 6.5 cm tall, each stands on its own

How It Works

1. Print: choose A4 or US Letter and print at 100% / actual size, ideally on card stock (160-200 gsm).
2. Cut: cut along the solid lines.
3. Fold: fold every dashed line.
4. Glue: glue the grey tabs to build the house, then glue the roof on top. Glue a wing to each side of every bird.
5. Play: fold each bird's stand back so it stands up, and move the birds into their new home!
