What You Receive

13 printable pages, supplied as 2 complete PDFs (A4 and US Letter): 1 how-to / assembly page, a colour set and a black-and-white set. Both PDFs contain the same designs in different paper sizes; there are 13 unique page layouts, not 26.

Each set has the character pieces (skull with flower crown, 2 hands, 2 shoes, tutu skirt) and five labelled chain-template sheets. Build one skeleton from 30 paper links plus the character pieces. Print either the colour set or the black-and-white set.

HALLOWEEN COLOURED CARD IDEA

Print the black-and-white set on purple, pink or orange card for a bold Halloween look, then add colour with white, gold or silver pens. Cut the link strips from any coloured card or paper.

How To Make It

Print your chosen set at 100% / Actual size. Do not select Fit to page.
Cut the dashed outlines and keep every glue tab.
Curl B1 and glue its full overlap. Thread each new strip through the previous ring before closing it. Continue the body through B6.
Attach both six-link arms through B1 and both six-link legs through B6.
Glue the skull neck tab to B1, hand tabs to the arms and shoe tabs to the legs. Glue the tutu waist tab to the front of B6 (or wrap it round B5 / B6).
An adult can tape a short hanging loop behind the skull. Let the glue dry fully before displaying.

You Will Need

Paper or card (100-200 gsm), printer, scissors, glue stick, clear tape and a short hanging loop. Materials are not included. Adult help is needed for cutting and hanging; display out of reach of small children.

The wider B1 and B6 junction strips are 17 x 2 cm; the other strips are 13 x 2 cm. All glue overlaps are 1 cm. Finished size and pose vary with assembly and display.
