“Fun craft for my Sunday School class. Very colorful and meaningful. Thank you!”
Make an autumn woodland wreath with the reassuring message "Jesus is with me - Every Season." Inspired by Matthew 28:20, this simple cut-and-glue activity invites children to talk about faith in everyday life.
What Is Included
10 printable pages: 5 colour + 5 black-and-white coloring pages, supplied as 2 complete PDFs (A4 + US Letter). Each PDF includes the same full activity in both versions.
- A solid circular wreath base with a printed centre message
- Six ready-written leaf messages
- Six woodland decorations: squirrel, sunflower, hedgehog, pear, oak leaf and apple
- Six blank leaves to personalize instead of the written leaves
- A draw-and-write reflection worksheet
How To Make
Suggested for ages 5-9 with adult support. Useful for Sunday school, church groups and homeschool. Younger children can dictate their thoughts to an adult.
You will need cardstock or paper, scissors, glue and optional crayons. Supplies are not included.
Finished layout is an example; children can choose their own arrangement. Blank leaves are an alternative to the written set, not an extra ring of pieces.
- Choose A4 or US Letter. Print the selected version at 100% / Actual size on 160-200 gsm cardstock if supported by your printer.
- Colour first if using the black-and-white version. Write or draw on blank leaves if desired.
- Cut around the outside circle and each chosen piece. Keep the centre of the base intact. Adult help is recommended for cutting.
- Arrange the six leaves around the rim. Glue their backs to the base. Add woodland decorations in the gaps; let dry.
- Read Matthew 28:20 together, complete the reflection sheet, and display the wreath.
