What's Included

11 printable pages: 1 how-to instruction page + 5 coloured lantern templates + 5 black-and-white colouring (coloring) lantern templates, as 2 PDFs (A4 + US Letter). Each PDF has all the pages, so you do not need to choose between the coloured and the colouring version.

The 5 Lanterns

Every lantern has 4 stained-glass windows, each with its own Bible verse and reference, a wavy scalloped top and a pretty handle.

How It Works

Colouring version: colour the pictures first, then cut, fold and glue. A step-by-step how-to page is included.

1. Print at 100% (actual size) on white paper or light cardstock.
2. Cut out the lantern strip, the base and the handle.
3. Fold on the dashed lines and glue the striped tab to make a square lantern.
4. Fold in the base and glue its 3 small tabs inside the walls.
5. Glue the handle inside the top. Done!

Size

Each lantern is about 6 x 6 x 12 cm (2.4 x 2.4 x 4.7 in), about 15 cm (6 in) tall with the handle. Prints on A4 or US Letter paper (landscape) with no scaling.

Good To Know

Ages 4 and up with a grown-up helping with the scissors.
