Paper Party Favour Boxes: Purses and Monster Designs

Make paper party favour boxes by choosing the shape and artwork first, building one sample and checking it against the gift you plan to put inside. Use Halloween purses or monsters for a seasonal party, or the general purse set for another theme.

Choose Halloween purses for handles and a flap

The Halloween Purse set has ten designs, including pumpkin, ghost, witch, cat and bat themes. Each purse uses three full-colour pages: body and gift tag, sides with flap and handles, and raised decorations.

Thirty-one pages in each A4 and US Letter PDF include an illustrated how-to page. The finished purse is listed at 15 cm wide, 9.5 cm high and 5 cm deep.

Print at Actual Size / 100% on the specified 200-250 gsm cardstock. Cut solid outlines, fold dashed lines and glue the grey tabs before adding decorations. These are colour-only templates, rather than a supplied colouring activity.

Choose general-party purses for different artwork

The separate Paper Purse Gift Box set uses the same listed page structure and finished dimensions, with themes such as strawberry, butterfly, unicorn, princess and rainbow.

It also provides ten purse designs and thirty-one full-colour pages in each paper-size PDF. Pick the complete matching three-page group for a design before printing multiple copies.

For a party craft table, decide whether guests will construct the whole purse or decorate a sample you have already assembled. That is your session arrangement, not a second version of the download.

Choose monsters for a different box construction

The Monster Treat Box download has eleven coloured character templates, including Frankenstein, vampire, pumpkin, bat, owl and scarecrow. Assembly guidance is included.

Its sequence cuts the box and accessories, folds the indicated lines, glues tabs and adds the character features. White cardstock is recommended, with scissors and glue or double-sided tape. Adult supervision is recommended for children using scissors.

The listing suggests small wrapped treats or lightweight items. It does not give the same finished measurements as the purse listings, so do not transfer the purse dimensions to a monster box.

Make the sample before the batch

Use this preparation check:

1. Build one complete box from the selected design.
2. Try the intended gift without forcing the closure.
3. Count the matching template pages needed per box.
4. Gather the listed card and adhesive.
5. Leave finished joins to set before filling.

If children are assembling at the party, keep each kit's pieces together and plan adult help for the folds. These downloads supply printable containers; gifts, treats and physical supplies are separate items you provide.
