Back-to-School Crafts and Personalised Class Displays

Prepare back-to-school paper activities in two stages: make personalised classroom displays in Canva before the session, then offer friendship crowns for children to colour and assemble. Keep the photo-editing task separate from the craft table so printing is finished when the group arrives.

Prepare the crayon display as the teacher's task

For a welcome display, invite children to choose a character before you prepare the final prints. That choice is a suggested classroom activity; the download does not supply a whole careers lesson or every occupation a child might name.

Give children a paper craft they can finish

The Friendship Crown set has five black-and-white designs. Each page contains a crown front and two adjustable strips, with five-page A4 and US Letter PDFs.

Children colour the front and both strips, cut dashed outlines and attach the bands. Check the fit before securing the ends using the listing's tape, glue or stapler options. Adult supervision is recommended with scissors or a stapler.
